A favorite of photographer Irving Penn and editor Diana Vreeland, Gail began her career in fashion and film. A producer, artist, Indian education activist and entrepreneur, she is the founding board member of the American Indian College Fund; launched the American Indian Higher Education Consortium's Cultural Learning Centers Initiative, building 29 cultural centers in 12 states. She is the founder of UNRESERVED American Indian Fashion & Art Alliance; and is on the MADI Board of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She is the owner and founder of Ramscale Studios, an event venue in New York City. Gail was born in Chicago, raised in Los Angeles and resides in New York, Massachusetts and Tortola BVI.
Gail was inspired to create HipSilver as a lifestyle and ecommerce brand where the new Silver Generation can safely engage, communicate and support each other. She is proud to be HipSilver's First Chief Curator.
