Soli Pierce, Treasures Curator, is an ardent environmentalist, clean food advocate, and community activist who we honor for her passion, talent, and commitment. A true HipSilver, Soli will showcase unique gifts created by and for the Silver generation as well as treasures created to help support people and their communities.
Soli's love of quality design and exposure to creative talent worldwide brings unique finds to HipSilver’s Treasures category. Graduating with a Masters Degree in Environmental Design and Architecture from Cal Poly, Soli has been creating beautiful hand-painted bowls and functional art-ware for over 20 years. Her work is offered in stores, galleries, and museums worldwide from Telluride to Tokyo. She has created gifts for everyone from Dr. Oz and President Clinton to Universal Pictures. Soli has won numerous awards, recognition, grants which have taken her to communities in Guatemala, and a special honorary government grant to work with Mayan women to teach them how to marry contemporary design with old world skills.
